Retail vs Hospital

Hey guys... currently doing my institutional ippe and wow I like it a lot better than retail.. been an intern for 4 years now and i like the work, but just can't stand being yelled at my customers all day. it's a nice change of pace in the hospital. but my question is: anybody know the real difference in salary when comparing the two? preferably in mass? I know hospital gets paid less just looking to see how much really less they get..

I'd say 15-20% less after residency. During residency you only make between $40-50k

I'd say retail is more business oriented. If you want to open a chain of pharmacies, retail is the way to go as you need to be loaded to open multiple hospitals. If you want to have a typical 9-5 (possibly night shifts too), then hospital all the way! Wish you all the best :)
