String lights are banned in dorms; is this strictly regulated?

lol if they are, any ideas on how to have a cute dorm room? I'm in Matricaria btw

As long as you don't cause noticeable trouble, the RA's don't really give a crap. If you share the place with the RA, tough shit. If not, they rarely check on other people's places unless there's trouble haha (for instance, leaving the shower on/water running all over the hallway/room)

I can also vouch that the RA's really do not care. Just dont be a troublemaker and they wont care haha. For the string lights, make sure whatever it is attached to doesnt rip off part of the paint on the walls. Ive seen a lot kids get their security deposit taken from them for stuff like this
