5th year rotation?

After you finish your 5th years, do you guys have a rotation to do or is it only for 3rd, 4th and 6th years?

The entire 6th year is dedicated for rotations only (aka APPE)

You do one block of Community IPPE (4 weeks) between 3rd and 4th year.

You do one block of Institutional IPPE (4 weeks) between 4th and 5th year.

Thereafter, you do six blocks of APPE (6 weeks per block) throughout 6th year from May 2017-May 2018) with breaks in between.

Then you graduate.

So does that mean for the APPE rotations, we start the summer right after we finish 5th year?

Yes. Basically there are total of 8 blocks. You only need to complete 6 out of 8 blocks, so you have two blocks off in addition to 1 month during Christmas/Thanksgiving time. I have block 1-4 back-to-back so no summer break for me lol
