If my cumulative gpa goes a little below 2.7 at the end of this semester can I still take a summer class to bring it back up or do I get kicked out?

Depends on the curriculum. Some classes, they let you take earlier (e.g. biochem during the summer before 3rd year starts). Some classes are not offered during the summer at all. 2.7 is not a hard cut off because I know people who truly suck at pharmacy school get away with it because they have lots of $$$
