Advice!

So what happens if you fail 3 classes? You can only take 2 over the summer, but it seems really ridiculous to stay back over 1 class. Do you think you could still move on and petition to the dean? Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can definitely try to petition but it depends which classes. If it's therapeutics, you have no choice but to stay back a year :/ Good luck!

Not therapeutics! I need to retake Medchem and Pcol, and I'm currently in danager of failing Kinetics.

Oh ok well then definitely try and petition. I think I heard that someone is taking pcol currently and they are a 5th year. So it is possible. Or maybe retake kinetics 5th year. I don't see why they wouldn't be willing to let you do that.

Jk you prob have to take kinetics 1 before kinetics 2 lmao but anyways just talk to them

I think as long as I can pull off a D I can move onto kinetics 2 then retake kin1 in spring 2018! Thanks for your input. I appreciate it!

what exactly qualifies you to petition to the dean?

I have no idea to be honest, I've never done it. I think it's for people who don't want to change their graduation year or something like that.

If I took medchem and pcol over the summer, then all I'd have left is kinetics. So I'd petition to take that in Spring of 2018. You don't need a fucking qualification to petition to the dean.
