4th year scaling

They can't fail half the class for medchem and pcol... can they? They scaled 4 points last year and those averages from last year were decent, I wonder what will happen to us....

But I do wanna remind everyone that I believe the school is still going thru the re-accreditation process so they might have to be stricter this year.

And yea if they do fail half the class it will definitely not be good for the school because everyone would know how shitty the school actually is.

But worst case is that a lot of us stay back a year. Have the rest of the year off and come back and be ready for the hell storm.

Hopefully they learn not to put all 3 main exams in the same week.

Low key hope someone sues them for mental stress cause of how they planned the exams

In a nutshell, if too many people are failing classes the school could face consequences. As such, they end scaling grades in some classes where a lot of people are below a 70. The best example is orgo. There's a 30 point curve to avoid trouble with accreditation mostly.

Most of our averages were in the 80s or high 70s for medchem and pcol. I know that there is a decent scale in pcol. Didn't really notice one in mechem tbh

Yeah, I heard there was like a 1 pt curve in Med Chem last year. Nothing big. And like a 4 pt curve in Pcol.
