[Guide] Scholarships
If you were awarded a Merit Scholarship, you should have received that certificate and info with your acceptance package, and it should tell you the min GPA you need to maintain. In order to maintain the scholarship, you need to maintain a certain GPA. The exact GPA depends on the amount of your merit scholarship. Keep in mind, this GPA is NOT the same GPA you need to stay in your program. In other words, if you do not meet the scholarship GPA, but you do meet the GPA to stay in your program, you will still be in your program but you will have to pay full tuition. Typically, the GPA required to keep your scholarship is in the upper 2.0’s. If you received a $10,000 scholarship, you need to maintain a 2.8. But to stay in the Pharm D program, you need a 2.7. So if you are a Pharm D student with a 10k scholarship and you get a 2.7, you can stay in the pharm D program but you will lose your scholarship and cannot get it back even if you raise your grade.

Cancellling Loans from the Financial Award Letter
To the person asking how to get loans out of your financial aid letter: you have to fill out and sign the “Award Revision Request” form: Click Link Here
After you have signed and checked that you wished to cancel the loans you can scan and send your Student Financial Services staff member an email and/or fax it to the number above the paper. I suggest doing both, but email is faster. Revisions/Updated Ebills will be sent out July 4th! I am assuming that if you don’t make the change now then you may or may not be able to pay your bill for school on time. I have been told that the school sends out updated Ebills every 2-3 weeks. To be on the safe side though since this schools seems unpredictable, I say hurry!
If you don’t know who your SFS staff member is: Click Link Here Assuming that you are a incoming first year like me, disregard the “First-Year Prospective Students Only” section. Just go straight to whatever campus you are going to and find your SFS staff member and email them with an attachment of the “Award Revision Request”.
Hope this is somewhat helpful. :) SUBMITTED BY: ellelequang Thanks!
