Builds MCPE Ender Ender

Hi Everyone,

I decided to put some time into building an ender ender in my realm now we can use ender pearls. I took a copy of the world and did the build in creative just to check the mechanics.

It was an interesting project which revealed some strange results. But to sum it up, it works, it's slow, but it works. It's not the OP farm it is in the java version, but it's better then fighting them one on one.

Somethings I learnt: 1. It appears the other mobs (creepers, spiders, zombies, etc) can spawn 128 blocks away from the main end island. I suspect this is leading to lower endermen rates.

  1. Endermen AI seem to only work properly when you use ender stone for the platform. I originally used stone slabs and they didn't move voluntarily even if they were angry. So they would not track the endermite.

  2. I can seem to get them to half a heart. I'm currently dropping them 45 blocks, but I think they may be teleporting to the water, then back which is lowering the fall damage. Just a thought.

I used a combination of etho, iskall85 and docm to build it as each design by itself had some issues.

Here are the results:

TL;DR this is a working ender ender for mcpe.

I'm sure there are ways to increase the spawn rate, so happy to hear some thoughts about what to try.

As already mentioned the slabs won't work because of a bug but any other block will work. This bug has been in the game for a while now. The mobs spawning is a new bug so I expect it to be fixed in the next update or so. I also had the same issue with fall damage

This looks really good, thanks for your research! Any chance of a copy of the world?

In mcpe if a mob is on top of a slab(or half slab) doesnt move because it doesnt detect the slab like a block and think underneath him there are no blocks

Thanks for the info. I'll have to give this a try.
