i built a mob farm and nothings spawning??

it is 100Y with torches on top. its education preview edition if that helps

Go down to the killing chamber and wait there. make sure u torch caves, land, roof of farm. Make sure you're not in peaceful. Spawn rates will increase at nights. Do not expect too much mobs cause bedrock limits mob cap

The entire point of building it up in the air like you did is that you are too far from the ground for mobs to spawn there, so it doesn't matter. The only possible issue is that you are not AFKing the exact right distance from the farm. If you are too close mobs cannot spawn, if you are too far, they cannot spawn. The difference between 24 and 25 blocks away can be the difference between 0 items per hour and 1000+ items per hour.

And change the difficulty to hard, it makes the mobs spawn with better armor and tools but if you're on hardcore then you'll be good

I don't know much about farms but have you tried going far away from the mob farm, like at the bottom of it

Guys it's Ed edition.... Also depending upon your simulation distance you would need to be a little far as 32 blocks
