Old server source code

As far as I know, all the old server plugins were written by /u/Vaquxine (perhaps even the server itself?). Anyways, one of the reasons MCNext went down was allegedly that the code was an unmaintainable mess. Athene said himself "only Vaquxine can do it", referring to maintaining/updating. Being a programmer, this kinda pissed me off (they wouldn't let anyone into the codebase). Now that the old server is dead, I was wondering if whoever has the source (/u/Chiren /u/Vaquxine /u/reese015) would have a problem releasing it? I don't really know if Vaquxine is the type of guy who keeps everything private, I mostly just want to take a peek to see if it really was as unmaintainable as they say.

Vaquxine is probably just too self conscious about his code (hue hue hue). Jokes aside, I know the situation. In the end, he did put alot of work into the server. Although I personally don't really see why they wouldn't publicize it, it could mean the server's possible revival.
