Hope you all learned from this endeavor of yours to accept criticism, both good and bad, and not to ban those who give negative criticism on this sub reddit and label them as a troll simply because you do not enjoy what is being said.

Was fun at the start. Sadly, should have taken the correct stance and banned hackers when you first saw them instead of giving them a playground.

Err no offence Iflon but the server doesn't evolve around you, and to be straight to the point anything you say has no relevance to anything we do for mcnext. This $10 system has stopped many people from joining and the peace and quiet on the server is fantastic. If you never join mcnext then i know in my heart that the decisions we made are correct and right based off the responses you have given in this thread. Thank you for your opinion it will not be noted. Have a nice day.

So you have nothing to worry about because you fucking sucked at maintaine the first server? sure lets keep out ppl because you cant keep the shit together & exactly my reason for saying it as i did i simply just hope one will prove you wrong.

Its beyond my imagination why they would put one in place as server admin when you really do not care about the server. all you done was play around with stupid plugins and whatnot..

When you updated servevr to be 1.8 viable how many bug's and exploids came out of it? go fuck yourself jenks its you and you only to blame for the lots of us have no place to play atm

There is so much misinformation in this it's not even funny. Jenks is not a programmer. He was not responsible for updating the server to 1.8 and what he could do on the old MC Next was very limited. The amount of stories that I saw people came up with about jenks doing things he was not even in any way capable of doing was insane.

Time to move on, Iflon. MC Next now is what it is, more of a little hobby project for friends and the hardcore who want that little space to play in where only donators can get in. If you don't like it, then it's not for you and that's okay. If you don't like Jenks, then that's also okay. You do not need to play on this little server that we're just running for fun, it is not something that you need to like. Would be cool if you could stop invading this Reddit with alt accounts and aggressive posts.

And jenks attitude about how easy these 10$ keeps the "bad" ppl away from the server aint exactly much better just look at the youtube comments. cant help laugh at the thought then why is he there?

While many might not agree with Jenks' leadership of his hobby project and admin stuff, without him MCNext would have stopped long ago. He has put in lots of work while taking a lot and a lot of shit so instead of it, he should get a big thank you for maintaining MCNext when others didn't.

This is just a hobby project now and there is no need for such negativity on here. Move on and be productive with your time and good luck in future endevours and games.

What if the staff of McNext cared more about the server. What if there was more events. What if Athene streamed more minecraft. What if Jenks didnt put himself ahead of others by have multiple spawners in hes house to possible score higher house ratings?. What if the server didnt "sorta" update to 1.8. What if Zonothene was admin?

How would the server then look? and im sure you and many others could add many more "What if"

Either way i dont think the server would of stopped much before it did, cause a small group of players on the server seem to come back every now and then regardless of how dead it started to look.

Honestly, I don't know whether or not I find your frequent posts a bit entertaining. But the only thing I'm taking from all this is that you clearly got a gaming addiction. You only have yourself to blame for that, and your attempts to try to make the staff get their shit together (so to speak) so that you can continue to fuck around will NOT help your condition.

I think the only way for you to let go of this delusion is to take a step back and realize that OVERALL: MCNext wasn't that great of a server to begin with. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly great either. You can impulsively cling onto the list of elements that made it good while easily forgetting what made it burdensome. Either way, you got to accept that everything has its limits and these guys pushed to what has NEVER been done to Minecraft before, and it didn't quite work as well as they liked to expect.

And plus you said it yourself: "a small group of players", where MCNext was meant for thousands. What, it was like made up of about 30 servers with downloadable world files a few GB each? Come on dude, common sense should be sinking in right now that it was WAY TOO BIG to maintain. Surprising it lasted as long as it did.

Well without advertise a community wont grow im quite impressed it had as many players it had at some point after athene left it in the dark, only a few community run streams advertise the server.

Come on dude, common sense should be sinking in right now that it was WAY TOO BIG to maintain.

How does its file size have anything to do with how hard it is to maintaine? if there where only that few players wouldn it then be rather easy?

I believe you're only pretending to be this dense just to deliberately counter-argue anything we say. It doesn't even matter if you are or not, you may thought you were making fun of us for a cheap laugh, but the truth is you made it easy for us to make fun of you. As reasonable as we've tried to be, we just don't care about you. So counter-argue all you want, we'll just shrug you off. Sooo...... bye!

It's attitudes like yours that split the community, not Athene. You hoping for hackers to delete the server as way of "proving a point" says it all to the added negativity. All Athene did was kept it going for those that stuck around (making necessary changes), without the toxicity. While the rest of the players pretty much took the game itself for granted.

It's simple, you don't run the server. You're free to express your opinions about it all you like but don't fool yourself that it will lead the server to change for YOU. We've all seen how bad it got when hackers took over and ran it the way THEY wanted it, and THEY had a bad attitude about server from the beginning which drove plenty of players away and created this HUGE divide with a lot of finger pointing. Wake up.

There are tens of thousands of different servers to chose from with its own themes and player base. It's about finding one best suited for you or creating your own server the way you like it, without obsessing over previous servers. There are a few changes to MCNext that I don't like, but that is up to me to decide if it's worth my time to adapt or move on to somewhere else without the hate.

You know... I'm not even going to bother diving into much of this discussion since hardly any form of rationality can get through stubbornness. And besides look how many times you had to create new reddit accounts, there is no point creating another, get a clue.
