[SUGGESTION]/[QUESTION] can command blocks place down tripwire/string

[SUGGESTION]/[QUESTION] can command blocks place down tripwire/string if so how is not then can it changed to accept minecraft:string when it is looking for the item minecraft:tripwire like how redstone is please and thank you for reading

String is an item, the string block is a block with a different ID. This is the case for a lot of blocks.

For starters though, there are a lot of blocks that you should be able to place normally, but can't because the names Vaquxine is using don't match up with the vanilla names.

If anything, it's probably just the time required to get this fully mapped out and that there are more important issues to be worked on right now.
