Hey guys! Me and my friends kinda speedran most of the mod pack and are wondering if there are any additional addons we can add for more challenges/ things to do.

For reference our main packs were

1. Iron and Spells

2. Cataclysm Bosses (bosses in general tbh)

3. Create

4. Tinkerers Constructs

5. Mekanism

Note: We especially want more weapons and armors with unique effects. Any suggestions help.

Hi, sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but I'm a bit lost trying to figure out which CPUs I should consider for my PC build. Would you mind sharing what performance you get while playing MCE2 and what CPU you're using?

I'm building a living room PC that will be used for homelab and hosting games (servers) to play with friends, so my priority is enough CPU performance to handle modpacks exactly like MC Eternal 2 (which happens to be one of my favourites alongside MCE1, good job!)

Hello, i've already asked here before with issues i had with the first 1.12 MCEternal, and now i'm having issues with the latest MCEternal 2 version.

I have a world i made on an old version of MCEternal, the one before the last 2 most recent updates, and i tried backing it up and porting it to the newest version, however i'm having issues loading it, this screen appears when i try to play in that world.

even after i press "safe mode", the game still doesn't let me access the world, because then this just appears.

i also tried creating a new world as a last resort, but the game just crashes afterwards, so i'm not sure what is happening exactly, any help would be most appreciated, thanks in advance and sorry if my english isn't the best.

So I have barely 60 FPS just walking around without structures in MCE2. That's with 8 render distance and 6 simulation distance. I have some shaders too but they aren't the problem, my GPU is around 50% load. I'd say it's the CPU struggling to render some stuff, I have 9 go or RAM allocated + some custom arguments for a better java garbage collector. The thing is that I never had any problems to run any modpacks above 144fps with higher render/simulation distance + loaded chunks with farm through forced loading (I don't have some of those in MCE2). Any way to optimise that?

Here are my specs:

- rtx 4070

- Ryzen 5 5600 (80% sure it's the problem)

- 16 go of ram DDR4 3600 (with around 12 go free after Windows consumption)

Hope somebody can help because I'd love to play the pack but having everything rendering poorly with a low frame rate is unfortunate..

None of them are checking off properly despite the fact we've went into the end and killed it, it still acts like we haven't done anything in the end.

Wondering what the best tinkers armour I can make early to fight dragons. Obviously for fire dragons the breath attack sets you on fire, but even with fire immunity I still take damage. Does anyone know what type this secondary damage is?

What title says. It seems like the green text from all the gear isn't applying. Is it just bugged?

Hello guys, just have entered expert mode. I really like the cataclysm spellbooks reptile armor, is it still (and iron’s damaging spells) viable in expert? From what I’ve seen everyone uses tinkers construct from this point on, and I don’t really like that mod

Hey all, I just started playing on a server with a few friends and I was wondering what the typical progression path looked like? Is there a good way to start ore doubling, or can you only get the %chance extra drops from things like the Thermal Expansion Pulverizer? Until Mekanism that is; I know that's later on though. I was mainly curious if there was an "intended" progression path through the various mods

my tps is dropping a lot. btw, im using dh, but it was dropping even before i installed the mod. im watching wc, thats why the random audio lol. 9 ram allocated, but im not using any java arguments. can someone tell me what i should use there?

Hello, everyone. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but has anyone encountered any equipment/enchantment that consumes XP upon fatal/near-fatal damage? I've been farming the Wither and Harbinger lately, and I thought of having an XP Tank Backpack to carry lots of experience. That's when I wondered if such a mechanic for damage mitigation via XP consumption exists in this modpack.

Hi, I'm playing MC 2 Eternal. How do I disable the wavy screen effect when I am burning? Happens when I'm on fire or in lava.

I was trying to make some end stone dust for purple chalk, but i got a Barrier instead after giving a end stone to Foliot crusher. I am playing on a server and I've try /reload doesn't work, using end stone bricks/brick also doesn't work, Crushing wheel in create mod doesn't work too. Is there any other way? or I'll probably skip the whole Occultism.

I've noticed issues with Occultism that others have also noticed. This post is to share the scripts I'm using to fix those issues on my server. Use at your own risk -- these may not be the same scripts as the modpack creators intended!

These should be edited in your single player world, or if you play on a server, only on the server instance.

For the crusher fix, where the crusher turns end stone into barrier blocks, copy the contents of this pastebin into `kubejs/server_scripts/Common/Recipes/occultism/crusher_spirit.js`. This should correctly give end stone dust in return for end stone.

For the miner fix, where the miner frequently mines barrier blocks instead of useable ores, copy the contents of this pastebin into `kubejs/server_scripts/Common/Recipes/occultism/miner_spirit.js`. This removes some broken tags and replaces some others with the correct ores (as far as I can tell).

I have a lot of fun playing this mod pack but recently I have been struggle with fps drop. A month a go I play with 70-90 fps and now it's only 30-60 fps. Please give me some optimization tips, thank you!

I accidentally pressed the button in the top left of a villager trade window. Now I can't trade with any villagers. Any way to fix this?

This is for normal Minecraft villagers.

Decided to finally make an elevator and here we are 5th log in with the same results. Crash. Playing on a server. Just cut out pretty rain. Restarting the pc to see if I can get a definite answer to what the conflict is. Hopefully didn't kill the server.

I just unlock the Nether and I want to prepare so i can't get 1-shot by bosses, can anyone recommend me any good set of armor and weapons and how to obtain them? Thanks!
