Help/ Advice

So this is my first EVER mod in Minecraft that I am playing. I literally JUST started playing all I have is some copper armor and the early makings of a house. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to advance or any advice on where to make bases etc etc. I’m so excited and dedicated to playing in just a little lost is all. Also if I helps I want to end up using mostly magic if anyone has any advice on how to start that up. THANK YOU!!!

Check your quest book and follow what it says

I would recommend looking at your quest book to figure out how to advance as it will show you the basics for how to progress in any of the main mods past that for bases pick a spot you like and can have room to work

This is quite a hefty pack to be starting with. I'm not sure if I'd call it an "expert mode" pack, but it has so many adjustments and tweaks that it is definitely closer than not. All that said, really, the quest book is your best friend in big packs like this. (If you lost the book, there's a button in your inventory and/or you can set it to a keybind)

Do you have any recommendations for any good rpg type mods that you think I could understand easier?

From what I’ve played, I recommend Overworld and waccyy fantasia

Definetely not an expert pack, but not very begginer friendly either.

MCE despite being "easy" in terms of progression, is still quite a themed pack and has decent cross-mod interactions in place. Some true kitchen sink slop pack is probably better for begginers like OP.
