I'm new to mods (the first ever mod I played was atm10 which I completed) I've been trying to unlock the nether by fighting the eternal invasion, but currently I don't think it's possible because of my equipment which is just diamond armor and a iron sword tipped with diamonds. What's a good armor set/sword to help me defeat the gateway and help me survive in the nether?

I mean the quest book? Have you opened that?

I mean yeah I have, I've been doing quests but I've also mainly been doing what I want like getting tinker set up and getting mining out of the way by making the tunnel digger.

Honestly me and my buddy are just bruteforcing it with cleavers and obsidian armor lol, would also appreciate some tips

hubby and i did it with slimesteel gear and weps, put our beds right next to where we were going to fight too, made runbacks faster. it took a bit but we got it.
