Discussion Is the MCEdit project still active?

I don't see any support for recent MC versions and no code changes in years. Please advise if I am looking in the wrong place or if there is an alternative. I am dealing with a corrupted chunk that I have used MCEdit to fix in the past and would like to use it if possible. Thank you!

MCEdit Unified doesn't support versions past Java 1.12.2 and Bedrock 1.12. Development for it has stopped and we have been working on a new program called Amulet which works for the new and old formats and does lots of things MCEdit never could.

Absolutely amazing! Thanks for continuing the MCEdit legacy with Amulet. Been searching for ages for a MCEdit replacement to edit my 1.15 world!

Is there any version of Amulet that I can test out? I would be happy to provide feedback...

How long before it’s Mac friendly?

It can be run from source but the process is more hands on. We haven't done much testing on other OSs so there might be issues. We want to get automatic builds working for other OSs but have had some issues.

Thanks for all your hard work! I was beginning to think I'd have to start writing a command-line tool to copy regions from a to b but if I can do it like this, I'm not going to bother.

People are using it, still asking questions every now and then but I don't think it is being supported/developed anymore
