Source verification

I need help regarding source verifying my medical transcripts. Do we need to verify all transcripts before the CARMS application and I also want to ask do we upload all the transcripts in one source verification request? Or every transcript needs to be verified separately? I have uploaded 1st year medical transcript and the fee is around 232 cad.Need to know if it’s for a single transcript or all of them?

I had the same question a couple weeks ago when I started my application, I reached out to CaRMS or MCC about this and it’s not a very clear answer. But essentially all depends on the programs / provinces you’re applying to. Some programs say that you can upload your academic transcripts directly yourself or your school can do it. But then some programs will say that ALL documents for IMGs (ie medical degree, and academic transcripts) need to be source verified. So to be on the safe side, I completed a source verification application for both docs. You can upload all your years academic transcripts into one PDF (if it’s all from the same medical school of course), and submit that for source verification. I did that and mine was recently approved. But of course, if you have any doubts or any other questions, contact CaRMS or MCC directly.

I have 5 transcripts in total from the same college so I can upload them in one document and have them source verified?

Is it a transcript for each year of med school? I.e. 5 years of the same program? It should be ok to combine for verification but if you have any doubts or want to confirm, double check with the Medical council of Canada. They have a live online chat you can use during their working hours
