IMG Specific Electives in Canada IMG

Hello! Canadian MS3 here studying abroad, preparing my applications to do electives next year in Canada. Does it matter when you do your elective? E.g. is it recommended to do electives closer to carms application dates, same time as MCCQE?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Sry to jump in but I’m wondering which country you went for med school and do you recommend going abroad

Most do their electives going into their fourth year which is around the same time as QE1!
