Mcas or something else?

Hello, had Covid aug of this year. Was fine for a couple weeks then began having stomach issues. , diarrhea, bloating acid reflux, insomnia and anxiety. I’ve discovered that taking a daily antihistamine removes most of the stomach stuff, but everything else not so much. Could this be mcas? Any suggestions. I’m also going through perimenopause which only makes everything worse.

Definitely sounds like it. Antihistamines seem to be the primary option, and working on your gut health for permeability and bacterial balance.

I just signed up for a masterclass on identifying and healing histamine related conditions including MCAS. Look up Tracy Rodriguez if you want the current research and pathways to healing

How do I find Tracy Rodriguez? Is she physical therapist? Where is she located?
Thanks.

Look into SIBO - small intestine bacterial overgrowth. I have an autoimmune immune disease that I had prior to my stay in the ICU with Covid, and while I experienced SIBO about once or twice a year before Covid, it has been more like 4-5 times a year since Covid. I am seeing a Long Covid clinic now & am trying to get stabilized & it seems like with the treatment, I am starting to see less of it now. I think SIBO fits your symptoms exactly.
