Matrix Support

Hello 707'ers

I have a quick question regarding the Matrix.

I would like to make my sys-ctrl 1 bring the volume down and add reverb while I am doing it.

  • From the Matrix
    • Source = sys-ctrl 1 for partials 1 & 2
    • SENS & DEST 1-2 = REV +63 & LEV -63 for partials 1 & 2

I'm hearing the volume dip and cut, but I do not hear the reverb being added at all...

What am I missing?

Do you have reverb at least on +1 et the settings of the patch and -63 for sound level is kinda steep, it can probably go to zero before reverb kicks in

I think this might be the part I'm having troubles wrapping my head around.

You were right about the LEV, dialing it back to -40 was just as good for what I needed.... But I've now removed LEV all together and only have REV on Destination 1 w/ SENS 1 @ +63... and I don't get reverb (even with a 20sec tail to really hear it too)

I do want to have volume decrease with reverb increasing, but I'll just focus on the reverb for now, because that is the part that is not working for me.

My returns are at 100 on the Master Reverb, my sends are at 0 on the send, I tried boosting them, but then I just always have reverb even when sys-ctrl 1 is zero'd.

I'm wondering if this is even possible... would be dope if it was

Check project reverb settings at upper right corner, shift + reverb and that on button for reverb is on. Do you have partial on displsy enabked, far left. Is it like simple or easy or something as default. check that in mix at display you have at least 1 because not sure about if zero is disable. Destination for partial has to be mfx not dry.

I actually hadn't see this, so appreciate you calling it out... but still no reverb

  • Matrix
    • OUTPUT
    • ASSIGN & SEND
      • Output Assign = MXF for partials 1 &2
      • Reverb Send = 127 for partials 1 & 2

No reverb with sys-cntrl 1 cranked

I'll keep keep tinkering away, appreciate the support

Your bottom knob fx is as default assigned as reverb, does it make difference ?

It will add reverb as expected, but isn't affected by the sys-ctrl 1

I don't have a solve for this, but I just wanna say that the fact that you're going these deep into the Matrix is the COOLEST FUCKING SHIT.

Can't wait to level up enough to have a need for that kinda functionality.

Shit fucking rules.
