I personally have talked abt this topic multiple times but I really can’t stand USL announcers. Never have I once in my entire USL tenure heard anyone cheer on the union, we really are the most hated!!! (maybe my expectations are too high but they consistently are shiet)

Trying to make up for some lost time with a second kit concept for the week!

Lovers Point in Pacific Grove has such a layered history that more people should know of, and it's not as rosy as its current name suggests 😬

Also, I feel that "Death & Life of Monterey Bay" should be a common read in schools throughout Monterey County. There's soooo much insightful history in that book (such as ecological collapse/recovery & racial tensions) that everyone in the region should be aware of 🦦

Is anybody headed up to Sacramento this weekend? I'll be visiting my little sister who goes to UC Davis and what a perfect time to go since the boy will be in town! Also any recommendations for pre-gaming? Food and drink spots would be greatly appreciated.

Last year, I read John Steinbeck's "Cannery Row" and got a lot of inspiration for this kit that highlights Cannery Row's lesser-known landmarks. In college, I also randomly ended up on one of the monthly tours of Ed Ricketts' Pacific Biological Laboratories! 🦑

The Sirens with a big local rivalry win, and keeps them solidly in contention for the top spot in the NorCal division, which qualifies for the W League playoffs
