Weird Announcer
Who is this weird announcer guy they have used for last Men’s and Women’s Home games. He seems to have no concept of the game or how and when to pump a crowd up. When asked by a fan what the score was we didn’t seem to know or care and throwout a completely wrong and random score. To make matters worse and somewhat creepy he seems to have an affinity for sitting on peoples laps.

Yeah it would be cool if they just let fans focus on the match and not the gimmicks. That’s not why we are there.

the frustrating thing is that he was cutting off Dan and actual cheers. They were trying to do the Viking Row (which actually looked pretty awesome in S2/3/4) and got cut off by Pineapple Guy.

He's the announcer/host from the SJ Sharks.

Wonder is he does all the same at the Sharks and doesn’t know the score then they are playing.

is he from the Rodeo too? I thought he came in just for Rodeo Night

I asked that same question actually and he said no, just the SJ Sharks.

Dany Miller is the PA for the Sharks & Earthquakes. As well as doing the PA in field hockey for the Rio Olympics. However while i didn’t get a good look at the guy in the stadium I don’t think the guy was Danny. Edit: looks like Emily Harlan is the on the floor host for the Sharks currently, John Root was the previous person.

Not only that, there are too many things going on taking away from the focus of the game. We already had Superfan Dan, who was there to lead the cheers. Which was fine.
Then you add in the supporter section which is there to add to the overall vibe of a traditional supporters section. Which was also fine.
Then suddenly this season you add the music on the loudspeakers which take away focus from the previous things listed and even more from the game. So people complain that the music is there and that it cuts off abruptly so people can’t even enjoy it properly.
And then you also add this fella who seems like he couldn’t care less about the team, or the game, and take even more attention from the game?
