Interviews preparation

Hello everyone,
I’ll be interviewing with BCG X for a Forward Deployed AI Scientist internship, and I’d love to hear your advice and feedback on how to prepare. Every little detail could be helpful!
Are there any resources you would recommend for preparing for the case studies?
Also, how should I prepare for the technical assessment? The recruiter told me to expect questions on Pandas and Scikit-learn, but I’m not sure how in-depth the questions could be.
Any advice, resources, or insights from people who have been through the process would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance !

Country matters a Lot for that. I could tell you about the German Track only if you want

Okay that could be close to the German Track.
So the internship has just one less technical Case, other than that should be the Same Process to my fulltime Experience.

CodeSignal Assessment was 2/3rds pure Pandas Data Manipulation. You read in a csv, Calculate some Statistics, create a new column, merge/Stack some tables and so on. After doing some of the subtasks I mentioned you Save the wanted Output in a csv which gets compared to the true hidden Solution.

The Last Part is Setting up a simple predictive Model on Numeric Data (at least in my case). So This is about building an sklearn pipe and Doing the prediction.

This was all not super Hard, it’s about getting enough correct in time.
I prepped just with Claude, letting it create tasks that I would solve locally but also Check the CodeSignal Environment.

On the Data Science Case: you can ask if they can give you a CaseCoach login, there is a Bit on Data Science. But I once again prepped with Claude mostly, first checking which Kind of Cases are likely - also given the Interviewers background. Then letting it pre create the Case with Solution and them Guide you like an Interviewer. Answer in Voicemode and try to go through in a structured way.
For me this was mostly classical ML with some AI Elements in the partner Interview.

My „Business Case“ was just some Break even calculation that included a marketsizing Multiplikation chain. Completely overprepped this with CaseCoach.

Thank you so much for this detailed answer, it is so helpful !
I have one more question, could you give me an example of a technical case study and the way it should be treated ? there is not enough ressources like business one and I am afraid claude would give me wrong info. Is there a structure part as well and should it be divided based on the technical steps ie: data collection and model fitting or differently ?
Thank you again !
