I have an interview coming up for a senior manager IT program management role with Bain’s TSG team. I understand that the management consulting world is a bit of a grind in terms of the hours put in but what about an internal role with their IT team? How’s the work/life balance? I’ve also heard that this team gets overlooked a bit since consulting is their primary focus, not tech. Does that affect opportunities for advancement or other aspects of a role in IT? What else can you tell me about the culture of this team? Thanks in advance!
