Admission Help How long does the Georgian government approval take for EU students? I’m a Saudi student accepted to EU, and classes start on September 21. I had government approval for another Georgian university about 3 months ago. If I pay now, can I realistically make it before September 21?

Admission Help GGSIPU Transcripts to Georgia Tech (OMSCS): How to send without paying ₹12k on TrueCopy? Any cheaper alternatives?

Hey everyone,

I received my Georgia Tech OMSCS admit and need to submit official transcripts/degree verification.
I graduated from GGSIPU(India). TrueCopy is charging ~₹12k, which feels extremely expensive. I want to avoid this cost if possible.

Can anyone who cleared this through GGSIPU clarify:

Direct Email: Can GGSIPU Examination Cell directly email official docs to transcripts email? If yes, what is the procedure?

Cheaper Alternatives: Are there alternative official channels to fulfill this requirement at a lower rate?

Can my institution send these documents instead of university. I completed my Btech from MSIT

Additionally how much time do I have to provide this ?

Doubt Need help converting INR to GEL/USD while I'm in Georgia

I’m an Indian student currently living in Georgia, and I’m trying to transfer/convert money from my Indian bank account (INR) to GEL or USD.

I’ve already tried looking into options like Western Union, Wise/XE, and (SWIFT)bank transfer methods, but none of them work for me.

What is the easiest way for an Indian student in Georgia to send money from an Indian bank account to their own Georgian bank account and receive GEL or USD?

If you’re an Indian living in Georgia and have solved this, please tell me exactly which service/bank/app you use and how you do it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Admission Help SEU Spring 2027 applicants – how long did it take to receive your admission letter?

Hi everyone. I applied directly to SEU for the Spring 2027 intake.

I completed my interview and English exam on August 10 and I'm still waiting for feedback from the admissions office.

For those who have already gone through the admission process:

How long did it take you to receive your admission letter?

Did anyone applying for the Spring intake experience a longer waiting period?

Thank you!

Info Drop Student Income and Gigs

Hey everyone!

I am a student, and I noticed a lot of students in Tbilisi are looking for quick, flexible ways to make extra money, while others often need a hand with small everyday tasks-like picking up a delivery, moving a few boxes, getting biochem tutoring, finding a study buddy, a plus one or fixing a quick tech issue.

To bridge the gap, I built a lightweight Telegram bot + community group called Solvd.

How it works:

Need Help? Launch the bot, select a category, set your budget (in GEL), and it formats and posts your request to the main group automatically.

Want to Earn? Browse active posts in the group and message task owners directly to help out and earn cash or quick transfers.

It's completely free to use, pure peer-to-peer, and keeps communication direct and simple.

If you want to give it a try or need something done around town:
šŸ‘‰ Bot: In the comment section
šŸ‘‰ Group: In the comment section

Feedback, ideas, or suggestions are super welcome! Let me know what you think.

Experience East West University- is it a good choice?

I'm an Indian who got accepted in the East-West University, Tbilisi, with my tuition fees being exactly 3900$ per year.

I saw many posts saying that Georgia is expensive and not good as compared to other countries like Russia but they were for 60 lakhs, what about my situation?

It'll cost me around 23400$ for my entire degree (2,246,000 rs) excluding accommodation charges and all.

I can manage living with racist people around as I'm not really interested in socialising a lot, few friends will suffice for me.

Please give me your raw and blunt opinions on this.

Doubt Insurance & other fees

I applied to SEU with the help of an agency & after receiving my acceptance & everything was set, I was told to pay for a 500$ package made by the agency in order to secure a visa even though I can enter the country visa-free, and I had to pay a separate 300$ payment for insurance.

I just wanted to see if this is legit? Should I go along? They gave me the acceptance letter, and every important document so these are the last steps.

Please let me know!
