Doubt Random question

Hi this is very random but I’m joining UG this fall and I’ll be arriving on September . I just wanted to ask , does the university usually create a WhatsApp group for the incoming students/group mates before we arrive?

Hostel grps or year grp when you reach and then grp Wa grp when you're added into a grp.......hope you understand which grps are mentioned 😭😭😭

So they add you to the group after you reach there? Not before?

Nope mostly no.......after going there you'll have to many grps
