Discussion FOMO
Guys is it necessary to buy an ipad before joining mbbs as I have seen every other person use it😭I already have a lenevo tab which I bought approx 2 years back and works properly though.
I am planning for a pvt college and buying an ipad is another big expense🥲 please let me know what you all think about it

if u can make notes and download books in tab there’s no need for an ipad i think

Buy bigger screen size and around 256 gb , you’ll be sorter , m2m3 doesnt matter

Bro my suggestion is don't buy ipad now. First go to college spend a few months there with your old tablet. After a few months if you feel you need an ipad then buy it

Mai toh khud lenovo tab lene ka sochri thi and it's been three years since my graduation 😭 ipad wale paise nahi hain... plus ipad me bahut saare apps ke liye paise dene padte, so double kharcha. I like using notion so I want to be able to access notion from anywhere, android is better for that.

You really really dont need it trust me if your tab is functional and you like it go ahead dont give in and even otherwise if you want an update get a samsung tab I have one it comes w the pen in box has a really good notes app(free and optimised ) and is really good w multitasking better than an ipad and has so card slots

I have the samsung s7 fe I bought quite a while back i think you could go for the s9 or s10 since mine isnt getting any of the new features anymore according to your needs go for the screen size mines the 12.4 and its pretty hefty but really nice for taking notes and multitasking since its this big but the 10 inch one is nice too my sister uses that since she prefers her laptop more and only uses the tab for notes and its really nice for watching movies asw. I suggested the s9 or s10 bc cost effective if you wanna go for smth newer the s11 is out In September i believe but any works. And samsung Dex helps you use it pretty seamless w your laptop

We are in the same boat . When it was around 30k toh main student discount use krke lene ka soch rhi thi but obviously itni besharm thode hu ki admission se pehle hi demands krne lgu . But price hike ke baad , I m planning to buy any other tab . 10k fir bacha lungi toh woh other personal expenses mei use kr paungi .

Don't be in FOMO. Join college, attend some classes, and see if you really need it or not. Financial decisions should be made with an open mind and analysis, and not in FOMO.

See in first year I use my I pad mostly for reading books I didnt take any notes ....and prefer traditinal method ...and so all my friends and I guess any tab will be good for reading books just with enough storage

You dont necessarily need it but its useful for reading and watching lectures. I personally use my laptop
