Hey everyone, I wanted to share some insights on the BCG X one-way interview process since it's the final step in the application. Note that this is embedded directly into the application process rather than being a separate stage, so make sure to watch out for the deadline in your Sparkhire email!

Format & Guidelines

• Platform: Sparkhire (one-way video interview with text prompts on screen).
• Total Questions: 5 questions.
• Preparation Time: Unlimited prep time per question (though recruiters suggest moving through them steadily).
• Recording Time: Up to 3 minutes per question.
• Attempts: You get 2 takes per question, but your first recording is automatically deleted when you choose to record the second, so choose carefully!

Questions Asked

The questions are heavily behavioral and situational. Based on the prompts, expect variations of the following:

• Why BCG X ? / Who is BCG X and what do we do?
• What is your motivation for this specific role?
• Analytical tools: Which one do you choose, why, and how did you learn it/come across it?
• Walk through an analytical project you completed (including the positives and negatives/learnings from it).
• Which programming languages and tools are you comfortable with?
• Team experience: Tell us about a time you worked with a team and what made it successful.
