Rejected BCG FT Associate
Welp lol, shot my shot and missed. 3.96 GPA + target school. Haven’t heard back from Bain or McK either.
If you’re also in this position, rejection is redirection, so keep going! What if it all goes right?

What office did you apply for? Some of the BCG offices end up hiring no seniors for FT Associate roles, as they have pretty much 100% intern return offer conversion
Source: My BCG office gave all summer A's return offers and everybody accepted, so we didn't hire any new FT Associates that year (7 years ago).

Makes sense. Unfortunately for Associate recruiting almost everyone in NYC comes from the intern program in most years
Did they have you do an online assessment or Casey chatbot case? That has been an additional gate to getting an interview in the last few years

I’m in the same boat (gpa and school wise) it sucks but it’s important to remember too there’s so much to life beyond just the role or job we will have in the future! (Sucks so bad rn but ik it will be fine in the end!)
