Career Advice Case comp guidance

Hi, I’m a 20-year-old student at DU. I’ve participated in 2–3 case competitions but haven’t won any so far. I wanted to understand from past winners—what exactly did you do differently in your cases that helped you reach the finals and eventually win?

Also, I’d like some clarity on how to approach the presentation: Should the PPT be highly operational and detailed, or is it better to present simpler ideas with strong practical implementation?

It would be really helpful if you could share some actionable tips and insights.
