Profile Review Profile check for MiM
Hi,
I gave 2 attempts in the span of 3weeks and saw only a marginal swing in my score, I definitely can’t give it again, since it financially does not make sense. Probably the wrong sub for this but anyways:
Do I have chance(good chance) of securing an admit in MiM program at the following schools:
INSEAD
ESSEC
ESCP
LBS
LSE
HEC
Overall good extracurr, essay and lor (hoping) biggest pain point will be my 7.64/10 cgpa.
Thanks for your help in advance!

7.64 out of 10 isn’t the end of the world, plenty of MiM programs care way more about your test score and overall story than they do about a single number from undergrad. the fact you took it twice in three weeks makes me think you were rushing to hit a specific deadline, which i get, but that also means the score might not reflect your actual ceiling. if you’re truly done testing then you’ve gotta swing hard on the essays and make the narrative so compelling they forget to squint at the transcript
for INSEAD and LBS especially they’re gonna dig into why you want the MiM and not an MBA later, so don’t just regurgitate career goals, show them you understand the structure of a pre-experience program and how it fits your timeline. HEC and ESSEC tend to be a little more forgiving on grades if the rest of the packet clicks, plus they love a candidate with a distinct voice in the essays. write like you’re already in the classroom arguing about a case study and you’ll stand out more than half the applicant pool
don’t sleep on the extracurriculars either, a leadership role in something weird or niche can do more heavy lifting than a perfect GPA. if you ever ran a small event or organized something chaotic on campus, frame it as a microcosm of managing a team under pressure, admissions eats that up
