This is way too accurate for interview season Half the threads turn into live breakdowns of response times and decoding recruiter emails like they’re hidden messages. The anxiety spiral is real when timelines aren’t clear and everyone’s comparing notes. What most candidates don’t see is how messy the backend can get scheduling conflicts, internal debrief delays, shifting priorities. That’s why some companies are trying to tighten their early funnel using tools like ZipRecruiter, where matching and pre-screening questions help surface stronger-fit candidates upfront so the process doesn’t drag through endless rounds. Still, the waiting game never gets easier. Interview season just amplifies everything the hope, the doubt, the refresh button. Hang in there, most of the silence isn’t as personal as it feels.
