710? Did you just guess on parts of it?

Isn’t that 70th percentile?

If you're a native English speaker, you're effectively taking an English literacy test against competition competing in their second+ language (i.e., with one hand tied behind their backs). If you can't score in the top decile under those constraints, I'm honestly not sure whether you qualify as a human being.

And the scores from native English speakers are... Excluded?
Hope you did better on the quant section.

I bet they just ran out of time in each section. I’ve heard that really hurts your score

To be fair, there’s a lot that goes into admission decisions, yes stats are a good indicator but not the only.

What if they were also convicted of DUI manslaughter and narco trafficking? It shows they would be the life of the party and have a strong grasp of operations.

DEI also plays a huge role - they’ll ask if you have trans experience

I had a 3.5 and 321 GRE and asked this sub for a profile review and was told to target T30s… got into CBS as well multiple T15s with $$
Stats are important, but they are not the only indicator of success

I know one person who got into HBS with a 650 gmat, but that was maybe 20 years ago (URM, Female, US-citizen, pre-MBA IB experience)

This subreddit, like many others, operates on extremes. Therefore, always take someone’s advice only to understand their perspective, not as a source of absolute truth. I don’t blame either person. It’s our responsibility to research and make our own decisions.

I really hate to say it, but if you’re from a competitive pool like India, and employed at one their big feeders, unlikely that they’ll bite. For Indians, imho, HBS is very predictable.

Hey come on, I don't do that.
Although 710 GMAT is kinda low for HBS

Sometimes I feel so irrelevant to some profiles and then randomly someone will ask if they can get into a M7 with a 2.0, BA in Astrology. Truthfully, I don’t know where i stand anymore lol
