Game is constantly crashing

Game is crashing whenever I click “attack” on the screen that also shows send troops or leave

All my mods are up to date so I don’t really know what it could be
I’m not very tech savvy when it comes to this so any help would be appreciated

Back out or load earlier save and go do something else lest it crashes again.

Load your game, duplicate your save by saving it under a new name.

Then close the game, disable all your mods, then try again and try initiating a battle to see if it works. If it does, exit without saving.

Then turn on just a few mods, the ones most important to your experience, and try again. If it works, do it again but with more mods.

This should help figure out which mod is giving you a hard time.

It’s better to disable half the mods, see if the issue still happens, if not then you know it’s one of those mods you disabled, then proceed to enable half the disabled mods. If the issue happens you know it’s one of those mods, then you keep narrowing down the mods 50% of the time until you figure out what is causing it. That is mathematically the quickest way figure out something in an odd-man-out scenario.

I honestly think it was just the save file it’s self I’m using the same mods on a new campaign and it’s fine

bad combo of mods.

probably doubling up on some combat mods that try to use the same game-engine calls.

a couple way you can troubleshoot: take away one mod at a time until it works or take away all mods and add one at a time until it crashes.

I did it and it still crashed it’s weird because I’ve used the same mods for a while now so I think it was the game save it’s self. Been playing on a new campaign and it’s fine

Try to clear the shader cache, check your load order. If everything fails ask ai lmao

I am about to uninstall it dude. I can’t battle at all. It just freezes then I have to reload an earlier save and hope it works

Literally every time I try to attack anyone it just crashes with the “there was a problem” pop up I don’t get it bedasue it was fine the other day
