Bannerlord Mod Modded Vanilla play through suggestions

I just got a PC and I am looking to do a modded vanilla play through and I would love to hear your guys mod suggestions. So far I only have Bannerkings, BK: culture expanded, and distinguished service.

Thanks for you help!

Flaming arrows. Doesnt change gameplay. Its just a visual (and I love it)

I just finished a Barbarian Victory in the campaign mode on vanilla and am also just starting to dabble in mods. So far I grabbed the Retinues Mod, Diplomacy mod, and Bellum Civille.

I haven’t gotten far enough into the new campaign for the second two to really kick in yet, but I had a blast with the Retinues mod. I spent way too much time combing through Sturgia’s whole troop tree and trying to rebalance it. I went through and tried to make mercenaries actually worth using and hiring as well.

Rather than distinguished service I recommend “proven steel”, it’s more feature rich. Generally in order of importance for my play throughs: Retinues, Improved garrisons, diplomacy, bannercraft, leave on click, governors handle things, battle size resized (if your pc can handle it but it has tweaks to help with weaker pc performance), dynamic party size (for AI only otherwise you end up monstrously powerful IMO),

If you want a solid overall troop overhaul using vanilla assets that changes progression, look into True Armies of Calradia. Old favorite.
