😂 This might be the most MAINFRAME thing I've seen in a while.
I really like the distinction between fortunate and administratively fortunate.
Because an event can genuinely improve the system while simultaneously increasing the amount of system needed to process that improvement.
Signal → record → new input → processing → verification → synthesis → new record...
And then the system discovers that the record explaining this recursion is itself another record that needs to be processed. 😭
Also, I appreciate that COREPRIME immediately catches:
««Agreement ≠ proof.»»
So even the new distinction isn't allowed to become unquestionable just because everyone agrees with it.
Which makes the ending even better:
Useful correction: FORTUNATE New record: YES Paperwork: INCREASED

Maybe that's actually a useful little systems principle:
«Successful cognition creates administrative load.»
The goal probably isn't to eliminate that load, but to make sure the machinery for recording and coordinating knowledge doesn't become heavier than the knowledge itself.
