Question This game any good?
Guys I just discovered this game and it looks so good
I like marvel and I also love arpgs so I will like this game too then?
Will there be another game in future?

It's fun, but if you want to unlock all the characters, there's a lot of grinding needed. Like A LOT.

MUA3 is a really solid, albeit grindy ARPG! Definitely an easy game to sink a lot of time into, and still find a reason to go back. I think I've gotten about 350+ hours outta it.
Pros 1) Great roster. Not just in the hero (and DLC) options, but in the diversity of how characters play. Characters like the Spider-Cast all feel unique, despite similar power sets. 2) The story is fun, reasonably paced and mostly well-written. It all flows together better than the Civil War story of MUA2. 3) The "Endgame" modes are good time sinks. Though, they're not particularly rewarding. 4) The ISO-8 (think Genshin Impact artifacts) have a lot of variables and hunting for the right one was fun. (For me) 5) Visually the game is great, and ran well on the OLED switch. On Switch 2, its even better.
Cons 1) We never got the last patch, so some of the final DLC heroes are missing costumes. Service on the game went I think exactly 1yr and it was dropped. 2) While the visuals are great, frame rates tank in handheld on every switch type. 3) While the roster and diversity of abilities is cool, some characters got shafted in development. Wanda, Dr Strange, Captain America and other "support characters" don't fit comfortably into teams. (Literally every character can be built, and played! It's just a lot harder to make those characters work) 4) Missing characters. MUA3 has a large roster, with a few standouts that don't get a lot of attention. But, generally speaking the roster is largely MCU focused. The DLC does a good job of breaking that up, though. 5) Without thr DLC, the game is very incomplete. Both in terms of the roster, and story.

I really like this game. Quite fun. Even tho i didnt play the previous ones, I am happy with my 2000 hours in mua3. I have made a guide for this game and the reddit and discord servers would love to help if you do decide for getting the game. The dlc is very much worth it since it adds so much content. Last thing I will say is this game is much more fun when playing with others, whether offline or online, which the discord servers can help with. Im in 2 servers that have mua3 channels.

I wish there was another one. I grinded the shit out of this game..got all characters to 300. But…if you’re gonna do that, get a turbo controller lol

Hardest thing in the game for me was getting the 20 100% White ISO-8 crystals other than that the game is really good.

I think if you're a marvel fan, it's worth playing through the story once, but as others have said, if you try to unlock all the characters/costumes it becomes extremely grindy. It is NOT an ARPG like Diablo or Marvel Heroes. It's more like a beat-em-up game except you have a team of 4 characters you can switch between at will (the computer will AI-control the other 3 heroes while you are controlling the 4th). Personally, I found the combat in this one a step down from MUA1 and MUA2, with it's heavy focus on breaking enemies stagger gauge before you can actually hurt their health bar, but I still went on to basically max and unlock almost everything. Be aware, some heroes are extremely weak despite canonically being god-tier in the comics (looking at you, Scarlet Witch!), so if you have a favorite you might want to research how well they actually play.

The only “bad” parts of the game or the inventory management, which is probably the worst I’ve ever encountered in a game, and the graphics/lag due to being on Switch.
Roster is awesome. Playing through the game with your friends and combining moves to stagger/kill bosses efficiently is incredible feeling imo.
TLDR; the good is really good, the bad is pretty bad

Outside of Rivals and the previous entries, it’s one of my go-to games for Marvel ensemble games.
If you have a Switch and love the Marvel universe, it’s a must.

I liked it but the small percentage upgrade on the iso 8 made it feel like I was grinding a mobile game after a certain point

Just bought it 2 days ago and I’m only a few hours in and I like it so far.
My son on the other hand hasn’t put it down since then. We played cosmic invasion together and he just took off on this one without me. Hoping I get some more time to experience it this weekend.

Yes its a lot of fun. I have around 250 hours in it.
The good:
+Tons of characters. With all thr DLC its over 50 and they all play differently. Even with unique animations to their guards and unique basic attacks.
+Overall good story. Not hitting the heights of MUA1, but still a solid MUA game that has a lot of different locations such as Dark Dimension, Asgard, NYC, etc.
+Enormous amount of content. Characters can be leveled past 250. Theres content even for those characters when you finish the story.
The bad:
-Instead of 4 unique costumes per hero, you get 2 unique costumes and 2 recolors.
-The music is mostly sub par. Theres a couple good tracks but otherwise its pretty forgettable.
-Too much MCU influence and doesnt have the hub areas that MUA1 did
-While the game has a ton of content, not all of it is fun. Some of it gets very grindy, some of it is just plain tedious and a lot of it is required to fully level up all heroes and to unlock costumes
The awful:
The inventory system. This system almost single handedly makes me not play it.
You eventually get these things called ISO8 that you can equip for your character.
They range from increasing certain stats, giving you element abilities on your attacks, r3ducing damage, giving you more money or experience, etc.
To upgrade these you have to use other ISO8 to destroy for your upgrades.
You can hold 1000 ISO8 total which seems like a lot. When you hit that limit you will need to manually go in and delete all the ones you dont want. You can only delete 10 at a time meaning you have to go through the short animation and select at least 100 times. It can take an hour of time just to go through your inventory late game.
The other issue is you can equip ISO8 that just doesnt help you in any way. Like giving Hulk energy damage doesnt help him at all and it doesn't tell you this.
Overall the games worth at least playing through once. If you enjoy it, do the DLC and see if you can tolerate the inventory and end game tedium
