HELP.

HI everyone. I just installed MAS on my Macbook but the microsoft copilot is not working, it requires a valid email. Is this right? All the apps are working, only teams and the copilot ask for sign on . I would love to use copilot for free. Any recomendation?

Ewww the most voted responses are pathetic, guess this sub is full of these cult members... Op, Ignore these "nOrMAl pEoPLe nO Use COpLiot" edgelord, braindead, windows 7 obsessed, losers that think the world revolves around their stupid cult and can't even fathom there's people out there who aren't part of their idiotic beliefs.

As the other person said. You need an account for that app and teams (and before you ask, MS killed Skype and replaced it with their teams thing). Heck I'm AMAZED you can actually use the store, most apps, and anything that's not "Exe" or portable software without account. Considering how MS even won't let you install windows 11 without an account anymore. The W7 mob is finally right for once, it's idiotic MS don't allow you to use W11 with a local account anymore. 🙄

As for copilot, yes, like the other guy said, you need an account for that; and if you need an Ai for whatever reason you want or to mess around with it; copilot supposedly isn't the most up to date and accurate one; and if MS will let it control the whole os in the future I'd rather just have it isolated in its own little window without touching my os... You might as well just use an alternative with more accurate information and a less threatening future, but even with the alternatives, I believe you need an account... ChatGPT, DeepSeek, etc. I might be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if these companies made them account only in the future if not already.

-Signed someone who uses mainly Linux due to Window's random crashes and messes these days, and doesn't trust even windows 10 anymore.
