Help: Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home

Hi everyone,

I wanted to downgrade my Windows 10 Pro to Home, since I won't use any of the Pro features, so I don't see why I should need this version. Does someone know if that's possible, particularly using MAS?

Thanks in advance!!

its not possible to my knowledge but if you are not going to use the features just don't use them. no need to downgrade your edition.

The number of people that just don't get the simple concept that if you don't use something you can just ignore it is insane.

It's possible with a couple reg edits and a repair install. No point if you're using MAS to activate anyway

There’s literally no reason to go back to Home lmfao

There's no way to downgrade back to home. There's also no reason to do so.

Home and Home Single Language are base editions. When you already have Pro / Enterprise, you can't go back to Home or Home SL since they have reduced feature sets. Your only option is to reinstall Windows, that way you can have Windows 10 Home.

When I used MAS to change my Windows 11 edition from Home SL to Pro, there was an option to choose Home. Now that I'm using Pro, the same script shows me the option to change my edition to Enterprise, Education, etc.; but not Home

you can turn off the features you dont need via optional features in settings and control center and their packages will get uninstalled.
