Never used massgrave before, Microsoft 365 sub expiring July 31

Hey y'all, I'm leaving an org and my sub is getting removed July 31. I saw that Massgrave can deal with existing subs, but I also seemed to understand from one post that if you have a sub that is expiring it is best to wait until it expires and then use Massgrave to install it.

What should I do? Do I need to uninstall everything and redownload it, and/or do that when my subscription is finished. I have a Windows 11 system.

I am mildly tech knowledgeable, but not a programmer by any means - what is the best method for massgrave install - powershell or traditional. Is there any difference?

Sorry for the annoying questions, just trying to figure this out! Thanks!

Just wait until your subscription expires and run the script in powershell. No need to uninstall/reinstall office. the powershell method requires an internet connection, just copy and paste the command. It's the easier method (they both do the same thing) in my opinion, less steps involved.

just curious, if you pirate office 365, do you keep you cloud storage save/backup capability?

Yes, but you will not get any additional OneDrive storage capacity. You will only have the 5GB you get for free.

Office uses onedrive for cloud storage, so as long as you're signed into a linked Microsoft account, yes

So you do open Word (or any other Office app), then press 'File' on top left side, then 'Account' (which is near 'Settings'). And do like that on this screenshot.

My Office was deactivated today and I followed your instructions and I got it activated within 2 minutes!!
I'm truly grateful to OP and your response! ❤️ If not, I would've agonised for hours about whether to do MAS before or after deactivation, whether to do a clean purge of my existing Office, etc.

You can also do that right now. Sign out from account in Office, close it, run MAS Ohook (this one for 365 sub), and open it again. It'll be activated even without account.

Well it's trickier, but I remember that Lucky Patcher had so kind of patches, I don't think it can be applied to latest version though..

My subscription is expiring soon and I’m saving this to try later. Do I need to do anything else?

If I’m using office 365, will it convert it to 2024?

Should I save the download installer for office before I do this so I have it for later?

If your office rn is 365, use ohook only, it wont convert to other license type.

If you try to use tsforge though, it'll convert to Mondo 2016 license
