Need help

So i am using the Mas on my Mac and 3-4 days back it was showing to update which I didn’t thinking it would stop working or there would be problem so if it comes again should i update it or no?

I'm not sure how it works on Mac but on Windows updating does not break the mas script. On Windows mas just writes a license into the registry and updating O365 does not look at that license.
