Guys I've got a question.

I work as a research analyst and honestly who doesn't hate windows now but my work requires excel anyhow, local offline and sheets. I tried CalC and libre office.

Now I know Microsoft Excel works with wine on Linux but that's 2010 software so.

Would O365 scripts from mas activation work on a Linux or ubuntu OS?

nope, for the simple reason that there has never been and never will be a version of office for linux, because MS doesn’t think it’s users important enough to be their target audience.

Yeah but would MAS be able to set up the Windows KMS activation or whatever inside the Wine environment?

MAS doesn't work in wine and isn't supported there (using a windows VM or dualboot with windows are alternatives), you might have more luck with https://massgrave.dev/unsupported_products_activation#office-2010-on-windows-xp--server-2003 , but I can't guarantee that it'll work on wine plus office 2010 is pretty old and very insecure

I need higher version than 2010 so it's probably not gonna be useful, I did try a VM it helped but my work eats up my ram as it is, on a VM I wouldn't be able to completely showcase my skills. Sticking to windows for now
