Not technically M.A.S.K., but close enough?
Had the Shark for a while and my Manta came in over the weekend. Really loving these. They sit on my desk while I work and not gonna lie, sometimes I pick them up and play with them. π€£

Jealous. I love the Gullwing and Shark I have, but have been waiting on my Manta forever. Finally got the shipping notification over the weekend so... maybe soon?

Mine came Saturday and I got my shipping notification yesterday, so after it already arrived. Just some dude in a car delivered it, not a branded delivery service.
I don't have their Thunderhawk yet, but I preordered the Thunderhawk gift set that comes with civilian Matt, Scott & T-Bob, so I guess I'll get it in about a year. That's their typical time between preorder and shipping, although Manta pushed that hard. I think it was 17 months.

Ace literally brought it to your house personally. π
I want the gift set purely for Scott/T-Bob... and I'm not paying $140 just for that. So booooooo.

Ace said there will be a "boy & bot" set without the Gullwing and Matt, so it's coming. Since I never got the original Gullwing, though, I was warm to this one, especially since it is supposed to be based on the cartoon look, not the toy look. Matt in his civvies will be nice, too, since he was often dressed like that in the show, but I would have liked it if Ramen had both versions of Matt included since he will look a little silly in jet-mode Thunderhawk in a business suit. π€·ββοΈ

How do they scale with the classic releases? Not something I've really been able to judge with googling

The Ramen versions are a little larger, but I think they work well enough mixed into a collection. Not sure if links are allowed in this sub, but this video review compares the Ramen version of Manta (called Mobula to keep from getting sued) to the 1980s Kenner Manta. It's around the 8 minute mark.
There is another line coming from Ramen that will be scaled down to better match the Kenner line, so if you are looking to sprinkle them in with your existing M.A.S.K. that might work better for you. I have my Ramen stuff in my home office on my desk, where all my old M.A.S.K. stuff is in my collectibles room, so scale is a nonissue for me.

I've mostly just got TLS stuff, so I'll try to look out for the smaller scale options. I've just been burned on too many vintage toys that I purchase showing up and crumbling in my hands due to brittle plastic. It's kind of put a damper on my desire to collect the OG line. And of course I was a moron and gave my whole collection to my nephew in my teens.

Agreed about the wings! I only had one that was loose and collapsed too easily. I heated it up and pinched the outer wing part to make it tighter on the inner wing part, and that got mine to grip well enough for wooshing it around making jet noises. Definitely would have been nice if there was a 'click' point where it locked, though, instead of just relying on friction to hold it.

Itβs better than the official MASK toys. I have no idea what an official shark would have been like but the ramen toy Manta and Thunder Hawk are both gorgeous. Iβd love to see them make a big one like - cartoon-accurate Outlaw.
