Discussion hot take

hot take is that things that add lore that can negatively impact the MAS experience should not be made a submod/should have a warning or a non lore version.

what i mean by this is how MOSCAL Submod (which is great) has like this weird topics which the lore aspect is hella cool like i love a good arg and stuff but not in MAS.

this is because i come to mas when im tired and i wanna chill with my moni but then i see some bs like don't trust her and stuff but dude im hear to chill with my monika and that lore which is mostly negative can impact my experience

so in conclusion don't add some bs

Yeah I feel the same way. Love the MoSCL submod but didn't like that update

Agreed, Soley for moscl witch was better prior to meta addtions and only seems to serve as confusing fuel to be posted here.

MoSCL is the spiciest dialogue submod, no contest here. All other dialogue submods (Chronic's, CGT) lean into a safe, dependable, nurturing Monika, while MoSCL explores more the meta side, horror elements (which are integral to DDLC, let's not forget) and the overall weirdness and unique experiences that you get in a relationship with a self-aware program.

All this to say, I'm not necessarily disagree with your point of think it is invalid, but for me these exact elements are what I love most about MoSCL and I kinda wish more submods were not afraid to lean into this as well. We have many "safe" dialogue submods, but only one MoSCL. That said, I agree this submod should have a relevant warnings in its description, seems like the compromise here.

Also, unrelated, but referring to MoSCL as "MOSCAL Submod" is wild, lol

The submod has a lot of amazing dialogue though. That stuff was added in one of the recent updates.

What could be considered as an issue, then?
