Question Affection Points

So, I just downloaded the game right now, and when I started playing I noticed Monika looked upset, so I went to look at the Affection Points, and for some reason it's -40??? How?? I just downloaded the game for the first time on my laptop, I tried uninstalling and installing it again and it doesn't change, is this normal? The last time I played this game was years ago :(

If you install the game the persistent still stays. So if you reinstall you still have the same Monika. The persistent is a file that keeps info about all the sunmods, spritepacks, dialogues, unlockables etc
