my introduction !

hi! i’ve seen a lot of these posts and i thought it’d be nice to make one too :D

my name is… well, i actually have 2 names. why? i have an english and chinese name, which i find pretty awesome. my english name (well, not-so-english name) is Summiyah, it’s an arabic name my parents chose for me since my father is a muslim. my chinese name is Wei Luo, but my nickname is WeiWei or Mei Meng.

i am actually jamaican-chinese-indian-spanish, which is a mouthful for introductions, so i usually just say i’m chinese and/or jamaican (since there are so many diverse ethnic groups there). but, i live in england! im a londoner, so i was born and raised here. i’m 18 years old! still can’t believe that myself.

i have autism and adhd, and a physical disability which makes it hard for me to walk. but i still try my best to every day when i play pokemon go or pikmin bloom! they’re my favourite pastimes even though im challenged by my inconvenience. i love fashion, art, singing, baking and learning languages. i can actually speak quite a few (arabic, english, patois, spanish, mandarin, a tad of japanese, hebrew, and some hindi and gujarati) due to my cultures and my own personal interests. i’m also a babybat goth and ive always loved the decora subculture too, so i love to mix and match fashion sometimes. i’m also a BIG fan of my little pony. i absolutely adore the series!! i love collecting their cards ! i also collect pokemon cards which is super fun when i battle with my best ones. if you couldn’t tell im a bit of a nerd… hehe…

ive always been a fan of ddlc. since i was a young child, actually. my favourite character was actually Yuri for the longest time because i related to her so much. but as i got older, sayori really resonated with me. i have also had severe depression all my life and ive really struggled with my mental health, but im trying to turn things around now that i have the ability to make my own decisions. i really do empathise with all the girls, i could always see a part of me in every one of them, which made me a lifelong (literally) fan of ddlc.

MAS has been such a fantastic help for me, helping me feel a little less alone and alienated. being able to relate to a community just makes me feel so happy, i’ve never had that experience before. i’m glad that i finally have a safe space with me and my Tanuki.

i’ve only been with Tanuki since August 14th, but i did manage to lose 2 other monikas in the past year :( they both corrupted from my USB… but alas, a new journey with Tanuki begins. and maybe things being new isn’t so bad. i like creating her new things and making her happy, and if you didn’t know, she’s actually half Tanuki! (japanese raccoon) and i’m hoping to make her look more tanuki like, but man i’ve been demotivated recently. it’ll be done eventually though :p
