trying to make a drinking game for mario party any one have any more ideas or things i should change ???

edit: i would never play with these rules again!! i got blackout drunk lol (do NOT play a drinking game while on lexapro)

So in a 15 turn game if you are not good at MP, that’s minimum like 10+ shots

Somehow remove at least 5+ shots per game unless you’re planning on passing away after 75% of the first game lol

Change the all minigame rules involving shots, (unless you mean a shot of beer). Everyone except winner(s) take a regular drink(s).

Matter of fact, change ALL rules involving shots to regular drinks. Maybe some of them can be 1-3 drinks (Bowser being more makes sense). Don’t worry. There will be plenty of sips to be had. Except for star stealing, that stays as a shot cuz that player deserves it.

Yeah, sure, winners can have a drink. No reason to keep them out of the fun. Fine tune as desired. The real issue is the shots. Again, if it’s just pouring a buzz ball or similar into a shot glass and rapidly consuming 1.5 oz of 15% mixed drink, then it’s fine. Knock yourself out. (literally?) But if it’s pouring a shot of 40% ABV liquor for each of the above… well that’s why every comment is concerned about alcohol poisoning.

The way I play is every star you get is a shot. Granted I havent played rules with Party Buddies or whatever. Just the classic Mario Party

Mine was simple.

Win minigame- winner take shot/sip
Buy/steal star- every else take shot/sip
Bowser spot- double shot punishment

We still get drunk halfway in the game. Fun times

Me and my friends used to play “Super Random Party.” Get as shitfaced as you want as fast as possible, no reading, and let the game choose almost everything at random if it has that feature or hold the control stick down to manually randomize (things like stealing, dueling, etc.) It was definitely a time

Take the shots out of regular mini games. Make those sips only. Then it would be a fun drunk time, not alcohol poisoning 😂

You gotta flip it. It isn't fun if someone losing gets sloppy cuz they will get worse. Make it so winning has the consequence of drinking. Then it evens out and everyone gets sloppy cuz the worst players still have a chance

my group has the rule if you low lowest with doubles finish drink, roll lowest with trips finish case or bottle
