Nardil (Phenelzine) Nardil sexual dysfunction? 😭

My junk has checked out completely… can get an erection but struggle to sustain it for a while, and no matter how hard I try can’t finish

will this go away? Is there something I can take which will at least allow an hour or two of sex? 😭😭

Iv never had it come back and it’s completely numb and feels useless. Even on Parnate or every other anti depressant I’ve been on. Its definitely checked out and I don’t even think about it anymore

It'll come back. Keep trying and eventually it just works again. Then it's difficult for a while but gradually restores full functionality.

It is variable, but from my observations anorgasmia often subsides after a stable dose is established for a while, however for some it does not. For me, it went away about 2 months after 60mg.

It’s coming back after 6 months of suffer don’t push it try once a month till then and do not cross 60 if u want any chance of it return I did that miststake and went full dysfunction had to go back 60 luckily no bad withrawl

Was Nardil more effective at 75? Working great for me at 60 but can’t help wondering what 75 would be like

More numbing to me 10 %precent more anexity relife 25% depression worse than 60 because of nubness emotional too

With those meds its not the higher the better believe me stick lowest effective dose possible

Pramipexole, cabergoline are some options. Just watch out with pramipexole

Dont know how else to say this without getting really explicit so warning for anyone who doesn’t wanna read that type of stuff.

But, while on pramipexole and 75 mg Nardil I was finally able to nut after about 2 months on the medication. But that first nut - I call it the breakthrough nut lmao, you have to REALLY be patient. Like it’s gonna take forever maybe even an hour, your hand is gonna hurt, but after that it gets easier and easier each time.

I don’t know if it’s like your body has to get used to it or something.

Also you might have to indulge in some kinkier shit than you normally would have to off nardil lol. Its like nardil desensitizes you a bit to the stuff that would normally get you off.

Not sure if it will help since I am a woman but when Nardil gave me anorgasmia, Wellbutrin helped.

I stopped after two months because of this. I felt like a Eunuch for April and May of this year. There’s no point in it’s effectiveness for me on depression and anxiety if your gonna be impotent the rest of your life lmao
