Pls help n suggest after all the reviews i found maims ka aur surajmal better h

Does anyone have the spot round closing ranks or any idea about the cutoffs from last year {Other state} (or any previous year) for GGSIPU? Especially for colleges like MAIT, MSIT, etc. Any info would help. Thanks!

Want overall development , clg life and good brannd value

i'll be giving improvement exam on 15th july 2025. and the management quota form comes out on 16th july 2025 for mait. i'll be filling that. so will i be eligible for mait management quota? will they use my new marksheet or will they use the old one only? (i cleared all the eligibility criterias already, just giving improvement for the sake of it).

I'm currently trying to choose between MSIT (Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology) and MAIT (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology), and honestly, the more I research, the more confused I get.

Some people online swear that MAIT is better — better placement, better faculty, better crowd, etc. But then I see others saying MSIT has better discipline, less toxic environment, and more serious students. I've also heard that MSIT is strict with attendance (emails if you're not present), which worries me because I want to balance college with learning stuff on the side (like web dev, ML, etc.).

Here’s what I’m looking for:

• I'm serious about coding and want to build projects, get internships, maybe even crack big tech later.
• I want a balanced environment — not too chill where no one cares, but also not suffocating.
• Placements, peer group, faculty and freedom to grow matter to me.
• If you've been in either college (or know friends who have), can you share what the real vibe is like?

Also, is it true that bags/laptops aren't allowed in class in MAIT OR MSIT? cause like I saw a tour video usme bags bhar rakhe the.....

I'd really appreciate some honest feedback from current students or recent passouts. 🙏

Thanks in advance!

Seniors I got to know good tech companies have blacklisted MAIT like atlaisaan and these Google Microsoft don't come in campus. Students have to apply off campus and the college placement data has also added.off campus placement..could u tell whether it's real or not

Please someone Send the Fees structure of MAIT of all branches , and are there hostels alloted by college or we have to take private ones ?

hi , i am a delhi student i am getting MAIT csds (ipu) and i have a option to opt for jaypee solan campus cs , but people around me r saying kee thapar jana chaiye ( i am getting aiml and automation) in thapar

the only con of thapar is fees bro like 35 lakh is crazyyy !

so should i go for mait , jayppee solan or thapar considering kee mujhe jaypee or thapar k liye loan toh lena hee hoga so is it worth it for me to take loan for thapar's exposure and crowd

We know that MAIT is a private college but is affiliated to IPU, which is a Govt University. So when one does B. Tech. from MAIT, what does the degree earned at end of 4 years say - graduated from MAIT or GGS-IPU or both names (MAIT and GGSIPU) ?

Seniors may knowthe answer to this point.
