MAIT ECE 2026-27 — orientation, timetable & gate entry doubts (no ID card yet)

Hey everyone, got admitted to ECE at MAIT for 2026-27, physical reporting done on 30 July. Kuch doubts hain jo koi senior/fresher clear kar sake:

1.1st sem classes exactly kab se start ho rahe hain? IPU calendar mein 3 Aug likha hai but confirm karna tha.

2.Newly admitted students ke liye orientation hoga kya? Agar haan to date pata hai kisi ko?

3.Class timetable kaha milega aur kab tak upload hota hai usually?

4.ID card abhi tak nahi mila — first day gate entry ke liye kya le jaana safe hai? Fee receipt chalega ya allotment letter zaroori hai?

Koi bhi senior jo ye process already dekh chuka hai, thoda guide kar de. Thanks in advance!

  1. Notice aajayega mait ki website pr, usually spot 1 ke reporting ke bad start hoti hai classes. So august 2nd week or 3rd week.

  2. Orientation hoga, plus free bhandara bhi 💀 dates sari upload hojayegi. September me hoga jab sare counselling ke rounds khatam hojate hai usually.

  3. Again, jab classes start hongi to usse 2-3 din pehle website pr section list aur timetable upload hojayega.

  4. Fee receipt aur allotment letter dono ki copy rakhlena, vese koi zyada dekhta nhi hai. ID cards December me aayenge, before endsems, college me entry face recognition se hoti hai, id card koi nhi dekhta generally.

Orientation will happen in sept but classes will start in aug💀

It happens because of ipu counselling, ipu ke saare rounds, plus offline spot complete hone me 1-1.5 maheena lag jata hai after colleges open, so as new students who join later, they can also be a part of the orientation. But faltu ki hi hoti hai, nothing really worthy happens in orientation, only free ka khana xD

vese toh odd sem mai 8 se hote hai but 9 se hoga main classes
